Course Diploma: PhD students must participate in the entire course to be eligible for the course diploma. The diploma will be issued after the last day of the course or following any exam or assignment due after the course. It will be sent to the email address you provided during registration.
Course Schedule
Considering the underlying objective, the readings, class preparation and class participation are essential. In preparation for each seminar, each student will review the assigned articles, and subsequently should prepare and upload to CANVAS a “conversation starter” that discusses and integrates the readings as well as offers personal insights and suggested topics for further discussion in the seminar.
Upload or post your conversation starter to the designated Assignment section in Canvas at least 48 hours prior to the class (Sunday and Wednesday at noon, respectively).

*All sessions are on Tuesdays and Fridays, 13:30-16:30 in HOW60 5.23.
A Pass/Fail grade will be based on participation and timely submission of all six 2-page (max) conversation starters.
Retake exam: students who attended at least 50% of the sessions but do not fulfill the passing requirements may submit a 25-page literature review theory development paper that is based on all the required readings. The paper is due 30 days after the last class.
Workload The stated workload includes all activities required to complete the course successfully, including lectures, required reading, preparation, active participation, assignments, independent study, and any examination or final assessment.

After the registration deadline, we will determine whether there are enough participants to run the course. If the course is oversubsscribed, we will also decide which applicants will be offered a place.
Once you receive our acceptance/welcome letter, your registration becomes binding, and the course fee is non-refundable.
If places remain available after the registration deadline, we may extend the registration period to fill the remaining spots.
